Disabling Cookies: If you choose to disable cookies you will still be able to browse this site, but you may not be able to purchase online. If you are familiar with cookies, they are small files stored on your device. Cookies are safe and used by just about every shopping website on the internet. Cookies are enabled by default on all internet browsers, so unless you have disable them you should have no problems. We do not use ‘third party’ cookies, as stated previously.
Making a Purchase
Making a purchase from Roses Ironmongers Limited could not be easier. Just browse our website and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping basket. After you have finished your selection, click on ‘View Basket’ (the icon on the right of your screen) and you will be asked a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.
We accept Visa, Mastercard as well as debit cards including Solo, Delta and Maestro through our PayPal checkout. You may also send your credit card information via phone, mail or over the Internet. Payments by cheque should be made payable to Roses Ironmongers Limited and sent to our mail address: Roses Internet accounts, 4 Estcourt Street, Devizes, Wiltshire, SN10 1LH
We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the Internet. All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed. They are not held in clear text on any website.
Shipping and Handling
Delivery to any address on the UK mainland varies in cost relative to the size of your order, some products are shipped free of charge. The cost of shipping may be added to your order total during checkout. Goods wrongly ordered can be returned at customer’s expense. We reserve the right to subtract a 25% re-stocking fee to any refund.
We begin processing orders with 12 working hours of receipt and notification will be sent to you by e-mail confirming product details and full shipping schedule.
Although we strive to provide as accurate information on shipping as we can, the delivery period stated either on the website or advised by e-mail or verbally should be seen as a guide only and cannot be viewed as the essence of any contract entered with Roses Ironmongers Limited. We shall endeavour to notify you as soon as possible of any anticipated delay in the shipment of your product and your order may of course be cancelled at any time prior to despatch should the wait prove unsatisfactory.
Repairs and Replacement
Should a fault arise following purchase of goods, it may be returned for repair or replacement within 6 months of purchase. If goods are found to be faulty after 6 months from the date of purchase, we reserve the right to request proof the item was faulty at the time of purchase.
For orders made from the UK, VAT at the prevailing rate is included in the price. Our VAT number is 398 9027 91.
We endeavour to respond to all complaints within 2 working days. Any issue raised will be dealt with swiftly and fairly and will be treated confidentially. You will be informed of the likely timescale involved in resolving any dispute and kept informed by e-mail of any progress.
